With 'Slime' still being a huge hit with children, we thought we'd have a go at making some with our ever so popular 'clear glue'.

We just can't enough of this glue, with slime makers everywhere ordering it daily!

For our slime recipe we used;

Saline (must contain boric acid)

Clear glue (See ours here)

Bicarbonate of Soda

Food colouring

Glitter if required

Firstly, we poured 100ml of glue into a glass bowl.

We then added 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda and mixed them both together.

If you want to add food colouring, now is the time. Just a couple of drops are needed, mix together.

We then added silver glitter which gives it a lovely 'galaxy' effect. Just sprinkle in as much as you need.

Lastly, we added 2 tablespoons of saline. Keep mixing until the glue begins to come away from the bowl. If you need to add more saline, just add a few drops at a time.  Too much and it will become too watery.

Take the slime from the bowl and knead it in your hands until it only sticks to itself.  This can be a bit messy but the kids will love it! After a good kneading you should have your wonderful, clear slime.
